New iPhone Could Kick Biometrics Into High Gear

When we're routinely relying on fingerprints or other biometric tech instead of -- ugh -- user names and passwords, we may look back on the launch of the iPhone 5s as a groundbreaking day in tech history. Once again, Apple is taking something that's been around for a while but hasn't quite caught on and turning it into something that tech-savvy consumers will soon consider a necessity.

Apple Mixes It Up With Sleek, Splashy iPhones

All that worrying about a cheap plastic iPhone in garish colors came to an end Tuesday when Apple trotted out its iPhone 5c. The phone is budget-minded, colorful and, well, polycarbonate, but it's a nice, respectable, well-made iPhone. The iPhone 5s, on the other hand, is something to write home about, with its fancy new fingerprint scanner and A7 chip that boasts 64-bit desktop-class architecture.

Yesterday Apple announced its new iOS7 release and what a release it is.  Today, less than 24 hours after iOS7 was publicly released, ShinobiControls releasing  iOS Suite version 2.5.  That includes new versions of our iOS charts, grids and essentials controls (also available individually as normal) which have all been revised to offer full support for iOS7.  Along with simple bug fixes to address any changes in APIs Apple has undertaken, we've introduced a brand new theme for each of the controls which mirror's Apple's new look UI.
